Since college I’ve always checked in on a blog of a friend of a friend Oven Love and she baked with Tuesdays with Dorie. I’ve been wanting to do it for the longest time and I finally got one of her cookbooks for Christmas.

Dorie gave them to a neighbor who called them World Peace Cookies and following the inauguration and ensuing events this couldn’t be a better week for them. These are super easy to make but it is all about the the quality of the ingredients. I used Hersheys cocoa but  will definitely use better cocoa in the future because it is the star of the cookie. I would also recommend fleur del sel because when you take a bite you get a mouthful of chocolate with a hint of the perfect amount of salt at the end. I made one roll right after they came out of the freezer and the other I made a few days later when I had people over. Follow the recipe to the T; bake them for 12 minutes regardless of what they look like when they come out. Try these cookies, although beware, they’re like crack.
